Where Swans Fly and Bears Walk 2010 / 09 Red-tailed Hawk Flight Feather Friday, January 8–Saturday, January 9, 2010

We found a bunch of Red-tailed Hawk feathers along one of the refuge roads. We were able to identify them by their shape and pattern, though we're not sure if the feathers were from a juvenile or adult.
