Dragonfly trek-10

We captured this dragonfly larva while dip netting in the lake. Dragonfly larvae are aquatic and some spend over a year underwater. Dragonfly larvae are more robust in body shape than damselfly larvae and they lack the three feathery external gills that damselfly larvae have on the end of their abdomens.
