Since 2004, select groups of North Carolina educators have joined a special collaboration in Ecuador, South America, between the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and Heifer International. Groups of North Carolina educators have explored Ecuadorian ecosystems, from the high altiplano to the Pacific coast, and learned about the animals and people who live in these places.
