On media day, how did the newspaper people and camera crews get out to your ship? Obviously, there isn't room for a helicopter pad. How far did they have to travel? —Lucinda, a retired teacher from Tennessee
The media and other invited guests came out to the Seward Johnson aboard two charter boats. They left at 8 in the morning and arrived around 11:30. We used the small boat (the "tender") from the Seward Johnson to ferry them from the charter boat. We were very fortunate to have the best possible weather — little to no wind and perfectly calm seas — so their 43 nautical mile trip was a pleasant one!
