Beatrice feeds a young macawToday we packed our bags and said goodbye to duPooy's as we began our trip to the Cockscomb Basin Jaguar Preserve. Along the way we stopped at the Belize Zoo, which is home to many native or endangered species. We met Sharon, director of the zoo, who allowed us to high-five a jaguar.

We also stopped at a local market for fruits and veggies before heading to Blue Hole for swimming. The water was cold and refreshing after walking around all morning.

Tonight we will stay at the Jaguar Preserve and hopefully see some cats.
