Mike Dunn

From the wonders of Yellowstone National Park to the familiarity of the school ground, Mike shares his passion for the natural world with North Carolina educators. Participants in Mike's workshops learn ways to incorporate the natural world into their curriculum as well as ways to improve their teaching techniques. During the mission, Mike will provide a daily journal and images.

Art Howard

Combining his love of the natural world with his skill as a videographer, Emmy Award-winning photographer and producer Art Howard will document life in the arctic and the researchers who study this harsh environment. Art's work will be part of a permanent High-Definition theater experience at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

Mike and Art have collaborated successfully together on previous projects and will capture imagery and still photographs, which will be incorporated into a documentary of the voyage. They will also work with the teachers onboard to explore K–12 informal science materials which will accompany the documentary.
